Be careful to ensure your silicone hasn't expired. I bought this stuff a year ago to seat in some new spa jets in my spa. It worked great and sealed all 6 spa jets. 1 year later, I used the remaining silicone that was sealed in it's original packaging to replace two other spa jets and the silicone didn't harden. Once I filled the spa, it leaked. I didn't realize silicone expired that fast but confirmed it when I put the silicone on a papertowel and it didn't go tack free or harden. Rather disappointing considering this silicone doesn't have a shelf life or date code that I could find on the packaging and now I have to drain my spa and make a second repair. Check that your silcone is still good before using on a project. Silicone should be tack-free after 30 minutes and not sticky when touched.
