I became addicted to self-adjusting pliers after getting some of these original RoboGrips from a TV commercial. I ordered them a size 7 and they are a bit thin. The jaws move slightly when closed and the hand feel/ergonomics aren't that great if you have small hands as the handles are initially very far apart and don't have a bend in them to make them parallel. When closed, the teeth don't have a section that intersects in parallel (it's more of a triangle) so gripping things like nuts and bolts isn't on the "edge" of the hex, but on the tips if that's the Case in point, the original RoboGrips offer a more parallel set of pliers for a more consistent grip, and they're thicker so they have more points of contact.
