Review on 🚀 K&N Cold Air Intake Kit: Increase Horsepower with High Performance for 2002-2004 PONTIAC/TOYOTA (Vibe, Corolla, Matrix XR) by Marcos Oner

Easy to install. Changes the sound of the engine (more of a growl) and improves highway performance. Installed it in my 2003 Pontiac Vibe commuter car and am very happy with the purchase. I haven't noticed a plus or minus change to my MPG - I like how the car drives and sounds after the intake was installed. So far I haven't noticed any increase or decrease in fuel economy - I don't know why I didn't order this product sooner. Once installed - no fault lit - after installation I reconnected the battery and drove for at least 30 minutes to reset the ECU. It was a pleasure to drive and thought I'd get it as I commute to work so much! Note. Make sure you have a can of MAF cleaner to clean the MAF before transferring it to the new intake. Pros: - Outstanding performance. growls when you step on the accelerator to start (cleans MAF and makes it easier to pull in) - When you turn it on you can actually hear it sucking in air, which is very impressive for family and friends - Filter comes pre-fitted - Oil lubricated - all fasteners - speaks its Californian CARB certificate - hopefully does not have to be removed for smog checks. Fits easily into my 2003 Pontiac Vibe - all hoses connect easily. - Great K&N stickers were included. Disadvantages: - On cold starts - like the first. in the morning - a rather loud "hissing" sucking noise (lasts only a few minutes). - The instructions were black on white and the important parts were greatly reduced - connecting the hoses back to the back of the inlet. I couldn't figure out how to just slide the PWM vacuum switching valve onto the mounting T-bracket based on the photos (I'm glad my friend helped when he did the installation previously). It had 2 extra screws - a 6mm pan head screw, 16mm long. QTY 2 #07730 could not understand where they were going.I recommend buying.
