I thought grooves were nice, no.
Absolutely awful. The ridges stuck to my yarn terribly and I got so frustrated with a bunch of cables that I pulled the needle and my yarn came apart and broke. I took a nail file and smoothed the edges, it helped a little but they weren't very good needles.
