I have a teenager who wanted a longer board than his basic and much smaller skateboard so I ordered it before his birthday. When he arrived it wasn't his birthday yet and I wanted him to open it. When his birthday came, he found with regret that the tape had come loose on the sides and there were already two shavings in the wooden board. The skateboard is sealed in thin plastic but somehow arrived with these flaws. While $55 might not be that much for some, receiving something damaged is still frustrating. Besides, the big problem is that he was still excited and wanted to try. I got him onto a cobbled path, and when he tried to zigzag gently across it, the carts seemed exceptionally maneuverable, causing the board to lean too far to one side or too close to the wheels and rub against the wheels. The sudden stop resulted in my son being thrown backwards and falling twice, the second time hitting the pavement quite hard with his tailbone and becoming nauseous for two days. Luckily he's fine now. This could only be the case with our theme, but just warned others that there was a lot of backlash and side-to-side truck mobility.
