We love this patty maker. It took a little getting used to, but we like it. For some reason our cakes turned out crooked, so we pressed them down, rotated them 180 degrees and pressed them down again, it turns out perfect. Make sure to firmly squash the hamburger into a ball to remove any air pockets before attempting to squash it. I bought this 6 inch patty maker because we like big hamburgers, but I think the 5 inch patty maker is better for most hamburger buns. Again, I prefer the 6-inch, especially with the many hamburger toppings. I noticed that some of the reviews say there is no press release for the hamburger. You just abuse the machine, there is a button you have to press to shut it down so you have the clearance you need. The car is great, I recommend it.
