Overall this is a great product. I use it in my restaurant and have baked over 1000 cakes. To get the patties even after the first smack, rotate them 180 degrees and smash them again, perfect! Highly Recommended!

Wanted to turn the meatballs into a schnitzel. Confused about how to do this with less than an inch clearance. From what I can see you need to download a patty to make a patty? Bad design if I missed something.

This is the second one I've bought in 6 months, this only lasted about a month and the gear inside has broken. It's a great car when it's worked, but it doesn't last long. The gear inside breaks and the handle does not push.

We love this patty maker. It took a little getting used to, but we like it. For some reason our cakes turned out crooked, so we pressed them down, rotated them 180 degrees and pressed them down again, it turns out perfect. Make sure to firmly squash the hamburger into a ball to remove any air pockets before attempting to squash it. Unit arrived undamaged on the outside but inside there is a bronze bearing on the vertical shaft which has come loose and is slipping down causing the gear to lift the press to be blocked which is probable the case would be the lift gear teeth cracking or breaking when the lever was forcibly tightened.
