Bought this scale 9 months ago. The measurements were pretty accurate. I have tested it regularly with known masses and the accuracy has never changed significantly. I've noticed that it sometimes shifts a few grams in one direction if I leave it on for a while, but that never makes a significant difference. The scale is relatively small and the digital display may be illegible at acute angles, so you cannot simply use a standard-sized plate as a measurement basis (see illustration). A few months ago my friend used a scale to measure. measure milk. She spilled a small drop near the display and some of it seeped inside. This initially caused the display to fail, but eventually returned with some visible damage. Since that day, however, the scale has never functioned more stably than before. Often times it won't start properly and needs to be stopped and restarted. I recently changed the batteries and now sometimes it won't change 0 or units. Recovering from these error conditions can be tedious and sometimes requires the batteries to be removed. I was expecting these scales to be somewhat resilient to minor spills, but they aren't.
