Starrett. do you need to say more? This brand has been synonymous with quality tools my entire life. Also, these instruments are made in the USA, which means a lot to me. No, they're not the cheapest, actually I shudder at Starrett's prices, but they're of the highest quality. These kicks are no exception. Excellent brass finish and clear markings on the shank showing not only standard but metric widths as well. They will last a very long time if treated with respect. And when they wear out, I go back to Starrett to buy them again. Damn the price. If you plan to use the tool a lot and have a choice between Chinese crap and something from Starrett, spend the extra money. I don't think you will regret it.
