Review on Secure Your Outdoor Possessions with Master Lock 719D Steel Cable and Integrated Padlock by Zachary Greene

Neat Master Lock cable lock

Purchased to protect our new RV surge protector. This is the same lock that the surge protector manufacturer sells for almost half the price. It's a bit too thin and won't stop a determined thief, but will get him to start a riot or a whole bunch of thugs to try and get away with him, and that's exactly what you need it for. It's currently unthinkable (yet) to make an iron lock for something like this, and of course there are stronger, thicker cable locks with no other real benefit other than maybe doubling the time it takes someone to pick it. The lock itself is fairly light and small and I actually wish this part was a bit more powerful, but that may be due to the economy of the product. In other words, you get what you pay for and they work with both a thicker cable and a very similar lock. My only concern is that the cord is too thick to fit through the locking loop or door hinge on most power columns. So I stopped there for now. Time will tell how everything holds up to the elements, I may update this at some point in the future as it weathers and ages. - 1 star for the lock itself, pretty light for a Master Lock product
