They are what they are. I don't know why I didn't stick to paper. They are too fragile to use and of course harmful to the environment. Don't put anything very hot on them or they will melt. Stick to thick paper plates for your party. You'll be just as happy as landfills or recycling centers, or if you live in an area where composting is even better. I put a compost bin by the door and encourage my guests to throw in paper plates, food and all of that. You can't do that with these foam sheets.
