This sanding block is very comfortable in my arthritic hands. Much more convenient for fine sanding flat surfaces than holding a sanding block. Very hard for sanding surfaces that need to remain perfectly flat, such as B. the ends or edges of boards or plywood. I like the ease of use of the round cover and pivoting sanding discs that I already have. I mainly use it to perfectly smooth the already good texture of board-grade plywood without the risk of cutting through thin veneer, which can happen with a sander. Obviously not suitable for contoured surfaces, but great for everything else.
