Drilled like butter through a 1 " marble countertop

I made a wood pilot hole with a 1/2" piece of wood, taped it to a post (ie: taped it :) and filled it with water to keep everything cool and level while drilling to keep. It took very little time and effort to drill through a 1" counter with an 18v cordless drill.

Pros

GREAT for making wine bottles with fairy lights. You can also drill glass blocks. You can drill through the tub tile and mount the handle. Aquarium drill for installing the overflow.
