Drilled like butter through a 1 " marble countertop

I made a wood pilot hole with a 1/2" piece of wood, taped it to a post (ie: taped it :) and filled it with water to keep everything cool and level while drilling to keep. It took very little time and effort to drill through a 1" counter with an 18v cordless drill.

Pros
  • GREAT for making wine bottles with fairy lights. You can also drill glass blocks. You can drill through the tub tile and mount the handle. Aquarium drill for installing the overflow.
Cons
  • Available in black only

Excellent flotation Hardie Plank (cement board)

This 7/8" diameter Drilax Diamond Coated Hole Saw did a great job with the Hardie Plank (cement board) finish on our patio. Start twisting the bit, hold it at an angle to start, then quickly straighten it once you have the holding groove. Smooth, clean and fast cutting. The comparison price for just a few holes is unbeatable. 7/8" perfect for 1/2" PVC pipe.

Pros
  • EASY TO USE Diamond Burs. Start at an angle, go vertical, don't apply too much pressure. Keep the instrument wet to cool.
Cons
  • Unbelievable Price

Did the Job for Power Tool Parts and Accessories

Worked great on a 1" quartz kitchen island countertop. I started with a small drill just to have a point to hold that drill. It's lined with water to keep it cool. I was worried about using something too strong and breaking the stone, so I just used a Makita drill bit at first, but after about an hour I was only getting about 3/4 of the way , so I switched to my hit Makita driver 15 minutes to go and I did it with no problems, looks great!

Pros
  • DRILLING HOLES in glass bottles, porcelain tiles, flower pots, fish tanks, granite, marble with a diamond coated drill bit.
Cons
  • Skimpy Instructions
