In general this is a good product. It lights things up faster than your standard kerosene or butane lighter. Seems to be a solid construction. If you touch it, it will give you a shock, but it won't burn you like a regular lighter would (as you would expect). It can also be used as a low-current high-voltage power source, which is cool when needed. Its disadvantages are that it is not stable in an upright position; The slightest breeze or smack can topple it, but that's a nitpick. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the capacitive arc start button is very sensitive. In fact, you don't have to touch it to activate the lighter. This could be potentially dangerous. Like I said, a lighter can't burn you, but if you don't know the sensitivity of the "button", you could shock yourself. Easy to avoid if you're aware of it, but a 5 star product won't have this problem. TLDR: Good lighter. It's easy to shock yourself when you're obviously not careful.
