Purchased as a replacement filter for our LG refrigerator. Read directions to take out and install! It will slightly leak on removal just use paper towel upon taking out. Use a large bowl or juice container to drain out a couple gallons of water to release air bubbles, it squirted water out and around when I first started with a glass, but improved as I removed water in 30 second increments as directions said, and allowing 1 min in between to allow air to escape.
