Review on 🚰 APEC Water Systems Dispense-3 8 Output Kit by Lisa Brown

The instructions included with this kit are not very accurate for my RO-90 system, you may need to read between the lines to set up this unit or contact support a 3/8 line that goes to the R/O faucet which screws onto the faucet with a 7/16" barbed fitting and expands to 3/8" but I was unable to use the 1/4" already installed Do not remove inch tubing with a RO-90 kit, Apec phone support said, to cut the 1/4" tubing that was flush with the threads on the faucet and install a new 7/16" 3/8 -Inch faucet adapter to thread. It seems like bad design to me to leave a cut piece of 1/4" tubing in the faucet when the whole kit is meant to improve flow. I think if I really want to use this flow improvement kit I'll have to buy a new faucet that doesn't already have the 1/4 inch line installed. After filling the tank, I contacted support and made sure the flow didn't improve. The agent I spoke to told me they didn't think I should cut the line flush with the faucet like the previous agent told me to. Now I'm waiting for a response from Apec to see what they have to say about installation issues. I currently have a non-enhanced flow 3/8" upgrade kit installed. I can't remove the 3/8" upgrade to go back because the support rep told me to cut the 1/4" line flush with the faucet so there's no way to 1 return /4-inch lines. Before purchasing this item, take a good look at your R/O faucet and if there is no way to non-destructively remove the 1/4" line then I would not recommend purchasing this kit. I think Apec may have made changes to the various items they sell so these sets aren't really as versatile as they claim.
