I was so excited when it arrived. Partly because of the ratings and partly because it was so much stronger than any splash screen I've ever had. The news got better, stainless steel, lifetime warranty, free scissors to answer the query. I liked the legs that kept the screen off the counter when not in the pan. My husband watched me and noticed that the screen didn't look flat. I found it odd because the legs were on the counter. So I decided to make an omelet with steamed vegetables. Big oops. One side of the screen was significantly higher than the other. Hot oil sprayed in that direction. So I cleaned the screen and turned it face down on the counter (should have done this before frying). One side was an inch above the counter. Needless to say, I immediately filed a return request for Revain. My husband thinks the screen was damaged during packing. There was no packing material in the box, the box was huge and intact. In any case, I should reconsider what I got.
