I ordered this bidet because I wanted to reduce my use of toilet paper due to its wasteful effect. I also wanted to feel cleaner after going to the toilet. I basically used the instruction video (on the main purchase page of this product) to install this bidet. I loved what I thought was a temperature controlled bidet. Anyway, I installed it using the video and sometimes with a little guide from my husband. Due to the setup of our toilet, the cold water didn't rise and leaked constantly, but we decided we wouldn't be using that much cold water anyway. After everything was done I tested it only to find that the water wasn't warm at all. So I did a little research and found that the heat with non-electric bidets really depends on your water supply and since we have an older house I'm guessing that's why it doesn't heat up as it should. So I'm a little frustrated that it's not warm or cold as advertised, but I also think I should have looked into that more. The pressure and cleaning factor of the bidet correspond to the description. The only other problem I encountered has to do with the women's environment. I don't feel like it changes the spray range but I'm just getting used to the bidet for the first time so I'll update if I feel like that isn't true. Overall no, it's not temperature control with my water supply, but it works like any bidet, which is why I'm rating it a 4 because it's not the wearer's fault my water isn't warm enough.
