This stuff is tough, great customer service.

Let me start by saying that this is a tough material! I've used this filament a number of times when I needed a durable print that could withstand some abuse. Very impressed with the durability aspect. Typing can be difficult, but if you use the right settings, you'll be fine. Here's what worked for me: 1. Make sure the filament is DRY before you start. When not in use, store in a container or bag with desiccant.2. I have used a nozzle temperature of 250-260Β°C with great success.3. 45-70C on a heated build platform. I used a thin layer of glue stick to help the thread stick to the frame. Using a raft is also recommended to reduce buckling.4. Print speed is an important factor and I've found that using slower speeds gives the best results. For small prints I use 20mm/s and for larger prints I use 30mm/s. The reason he loses the star is due to a faulty coil. I used two spools of this yarn and the first worked great, the second not so much. The second roll jammed during printing. Printing started normally, but after 15 to a couple of hours in the printer, the filament stopped pushing out. I changed the temperature and nozzle speed several times but still got stuck. After several unsuccessful attempts, I turned to the Taulman team for help. Taulman's customer service is great and the response time was very quick. I've been told that some spools of filament have ridges on the cord and can get stuck in the printer. To solve this problem, Taulman sent me a brand new reel with no replacement! Even with the broken role, I still have great respect for this thread. I will continue to use this product for its versatility and quality.
