I got this as the one I had in my care was old & very small gauge. I look at many of them & decided on this one since it was a much larger gauge wire. I was able to use it one day coming home from work. A guy was sitting in his car half way into the intersection of a 4 way stop. I helped push him through & then was helping him to jump his car. He had a little dinky set like I used to have & it was not allowing enough jump to get his to start. I switched them out for mine & it had no problem starting his. They were very sturdy, didn't feel whimpy & was of course in a case. I definelty am glad I bought these to replace my very small gauge ones.
