When you use a frying pan this small as often as I do, you definitely don't need Teflon finish wear and plastic handles, which can't be far enough away from open flames. After several bouts of dizziness while cooking, I found that part of the plastic and/or Teflon handle on my old skillet had melted. Replacing that frying pan without Teflon and plastic ended this very disturbing trend. I cooked quinoa, melted cheese and of course an egg. I might recommend egg cooking spray but other things tend not to be sticky. I love this pan and will never go back to Teflon.
