This is a fantastic leash to wear hands free as a large belt-like loop over the shoulder. Very comfortable and almost like walking without a leash. Provided your dog is well trained to walk on a loose leash. I use the EzyDog Vario 6 as my main leash, but I'm using this leash more often because it's lighter but feels almost as strong. Really surprised by the quality for 1/4 the price. The advantage of the EzyDog is the reflective stitching, so I prefer to use it at night. I love that this leash can be quickly and easily adjusted to different lengths depending on the situation. The longest length gives the dog a little more freedom of movement than a standard 6 foot leash. Good for parks and trails with lots of space. Should be great for both camping and a quick temporary harness. Additional rings will come in handy for other purposes as well. I use the one on the end to attach it to my dog's harness with a carabiner, while the clip on the end goes to his collar. This way there is a safety backup should a connection ever go down. As such it is a very versatile leash and looks well made and durable. For the record, my dog is an AmStaff weighing 60 pounds.
