Review on πŸ”” Knog Oi Bike Bell: Original & Luxe Styles with Cable-Clip - Adult/Youth Bicycle Bell (Black, Copper, Brass, Aluminum) by Troy Robinson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The Big Luxe is definitely what you're looking for

tl;dr The Big Luxe is quite loud with a clean, cutting tone. I like it! The one to get is definitely the large suite. I've read professional reviews that indicate the small deluxe bell suffers from a design flaw that causes the firing pin to bounce and dampen resonance. The result is an unassuming punch! Sound. Classic bells, both small and large, use a plastic mallet that doesn't ring as loudly as metal and isn't as durable. Customer reviews of Revain tend to align with these professional reviewers, as the less favorable reviews tend to align with classic and small luxury. It is best to only get sick with large luxury products. Anyway, I have two other cheap bells, both with plastic mallets. Oi Luxe is louder than both with a longer ring. Before receiving my Oi, I watched a Knog promotional video showing the setup. The video warns against tightening the screw until the top and bottom of the ring meet. Space must be left to allow the top of the ring to resonate. To achieve this distance with a solid mount on my 25.4mm bars, I used both a plastic spacer and a self-adhesive rubber strip (both included), although the instructions only use a rubber strip for 23.8mm bars. handlebar demanded. I will not be included! *tears shirt*
