At first I was disappointed with the color of the coat, which was more white with a few brown spots than brindle. But I thought I would get over it. But after using the sweat mug for the first time, the coaster flexed and bent that day. I was hoping this wouldn't happen as I've held up other leather coasters fairly well but not this one. The back is made of soft, leather-like material and is comfortable to the touch, but not suitable for a stand.
