Review on Suburban SB232259 Quantity Electrical Switch SW by Derek Helvie

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Tightening the wires to the switch inside is very difficult, it's better. Suburban wanted its tanks on .

I think these switches are not designed for use in wet conditions and will most likely short out if you flush the water heater frequently. If I had to do it all over again I would solder and insulate the wires to that switch and then run them to a separate switch in the car to avoid the problem. Because this switch is mounted in such a ridiculous spot on the heater, it's very hard to get a better idea of how the wires to the switch run inside. Suburban wanted to convert their tanks to gas/electric and placed the switch in the only remaining space on the front of the heater.
