Connectors are in the wrong direction

On our heater the connectors are 90 degree spade connectors which work well for straight connectors on the switch but do not work at all for switches with a 45 degree angled connector. . That means either using a different derailleur (bought two from China on Ebay for $1.19 and ran on gas until they arrived) or trying to pull enough to replace the 90 degree paddles with straight connectors eh was really tricky when they only give you a few inches of wire through the switch hole. I think these switches are not designed for use in wet conditions and will most likely short out if you flush the water heater frequently. If I had to do it all over again I would solder and insulate the wires to that switch and then run them to a separate switch in the car to avoid the problem. Because this switch is mounted in such a ridiculous spot on the heater, it's very hard to get a better idea of how the wires to the switch run inside. Suburban wanted to convert their tanks to…

Differs from the original switch

The product arrived in a reasonable time and was very easy to install. I've added an image to show that the product doesn't meet my expectations for amperage. The Questions and Answers section under this product said it was a 20 amp device, when in fact the external rating is 16 amps as you can see from the picture of the printed specs on the outside of the switch.
