On our heater the connectors are 90 degree spade connectors which work well for straight connectors on the switch but do not work at all for switches with a 45 degree angled connector. . That means either using a different derailleur (bought two from China on Ebay for $1.19 and ran on gas until they arrived) or trying to pull enough to replace the 90 degree paddles with straight connectors eh was really tricky when they only give you a few inches of wire through the switch hole. Our switch came with a gasket. This is a good quality switch and will work fine if your heater has straight wire connections.
