I really like these needles. My fingers don't poke me. Do not separate the yarn. they are very comfortable in my hands. However, two things. I found them to slow me down because they aren't slippery enough, especially when they get hot. I also love sewing baby, infant and adult blankets and these needles only fit up to 32 inches. not suitable for all stitches I use. I made a scarf out of it and I really like it, and I didn't have a split yarn! So I basically love them and hope they make them longer and maybe a little more slippery in the future.
