First I want to say I'm new to bearded dragons, I had a white light that didn't produce enough heat. I bought a red bulb which still didn't produce enough heat for my 20 gallon tank, we stayed at around 80Β° at the hottest spot. I used this light and after finding out that it worked because I hadn't read what I was buying and didn't understand that it wasn't emitting real light, I found that within five minutes the cage was already was heated to 90 Β°C Β°. ! My son can now sleep at night without bright lights and I'm sure the dragon will sleep better and he immediately raised the temperature to the desired level. good product!
