Works like magic for cutting strips if I line up both folds carefully. Line up the folded edge of the fabric with the line next to me on the cutting mat. Then gently lift the edges and bring them to me to create a second crease to match the line of the mat board. Turn the topiary over and align the "top" line of the topiary with the fold of fabric closest to me. Starting on the right side at point 0, I stretch my arm to hold the shape cut in place, cut and use my index finger to move the arm "close" to the next cut slit. If you start on the left and cut to the right, the fold of the fabric will shift, which is no different than with a regular rotating ruler. With Shape Cut, you can easily cut more at once without moving the ruler, and they're all the same size!
