I've been using LL in my diff for a few years. I really like her. Apply a light coat of oil, install the gasket and tighten to the specified torque. They do not "creep" like rubber grommets and require multiple puffs. And because they're rigid, there's no need to use nails to hold the seal in place during installation. However, good surface preparation is crucial here. They should be smooth and free of other sealant/residue.
