Review on 🔧 Efficient Makita A-98348 50 Piece Impactx Driver Bit Set: Enhance Your Drilling Experience by George Utley

I don't know if there are any quality control issues with this kit but it seems like half the people are happy and the other half aren't. Here's what I think of my kit: 1) (-1 star): MBH (magnetic bit holder), both bits get stuck. Both the shorter and longer pieces stuck with me. I used a heat gun + pliers to try to get it out but to no avail. I will never use MBH from this set again. (However, as others have noted, these MBHs come in handy again if you remove the small locking washer next to the tip. Do this BEFORE you put your first bit in.) 2) (-1 star) MND (Magnetic Nug Driver), all have short depths. You can't drive a regular sized nut because the bit isn't deep enough. MNDs are useless.3) (-1 star) The bit holders on the plastic case are very tight. I had to use a lot of force to push them in. (Some people claim their bits fall out inside the case; it's probably because they didn't push them in hard enough.) And once they're inside, I have to use pliers and force to pull them out. I will keep frequently used bits in a case and never use bit holders in a case again. 4) (-1 star) Hose lock is too tight. I had to open them with pliers. I ended up prying the plastic lock back a bit with pliers and now the mechanism opens more easily. The plastic packaging was also awkward to open, be careful not to cut your fingers. Why not pre-install the bits in the housing at the factory? You'll have to install the bits into the case yourself (that's what I learned from #3 above). Overall, I don't recommend it for any price, let alone $22.
