I bought the bamboo needles because I couldn't find the size I needed anywhere else and I was hoping that a higher price would mean better quality. It's not like this. Bamboo needles are lighter and feel nice, but the slightly rougher texture gives you the worst of both worlds: They don't help prevent stitches from falling out, but they do make it harder to get stitches on the needle tips with cords. The cable is the worst. It's the same ultra-cheap plastic cord as the cheap needles, with kinks that won't come out that make the connection look like a bear circle because they keep twisting. If you can't find the size you need anywhere else (and the pins are small and long enough to make Magic Loop socks hard to find), it's better than nothing. But if you're looking for the highest quality needles, don't let the price fool you.
