The tips are really sharp, which can be a good or bad thing. Good for tight stitches but tricky on fingertips. The wood is very smooth and slides easily over the yarn. The yarn does not stick to the connection of the wood with the plastic cord.

I love Takumi Clover needles and have been using them for many years. I went out of town and couldn't find a 36" or 48 3" set of size 3 circles to carry my project. I figured I could just ship them to their destination with Revain. I'm working on them, I'm leaving them because I can work a little further than I could but I'm disappointed I got the wrong length.

I bought the bamboo needles because I couldn't find the size I needed anywhere else and I was hoping that a higher price would mean better quality. It's not like this. Bamboo needles are lighter and feel nice, but the slightly rougher texture gives you the worst of both worlds: They don't help prevent stitches from falling out, but they do make it harder to get stitches on the needle tips with cords.
