Review on 🚲 Allen Sports Deluxe Child Trailer with Strong Steel Frame by Mike Ken

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Didn't work for us

This item was smaller than expected. I felt there weren't enough photos to show the inside of the device. The floor was extremely fragile (supported only by cloth hanging from the frame) and I find it hard to believe a 50lb child could comfortably sit there for more than 10 minutes because of this. In my opinion, that was the biggest drawback. The backrest appeared to be at a 90 degree angle and given the sagging floor I'm guessing this won't be a comfortable seat in the long run. During a test run inside it pulled very hard to the right as mentioned in some other reviews. My other half is good with the tools, so he tried making small adjustments but it didn't work. The frame, especially the handlebars, weren't as strong as I expected. Compared to the Booyah trailer I ended up buying from Revain, I found it to be relatively weak. The tires didn't disappoint, but they were smaller than the buoy's. To be honest I was going to use this for my dog, not a child, and it didn't fit in at all. Because of its narrow shape, it was very difficult to load it there. Basically we had to lift it backwards, which I think you have to do for a kid. Overall, after an hour of using this device, I got the impression that it wouldn't take more than a couple of months before the fabric ripped in one of the many places that the device's operation depended solely on that. We decided to return.
