It works well for what I need it for. The only reason I bought this was to warn me if one of my two freezers fails so I don't lose my food. In terms of accuracy, a sensor is pretty accurate, within 1-2 degrees. The other sensor is accurate within 3-4 degrees and jumps a bit in that range. The volume of the alarm clock is good, it can be heard in several rooms, it is not loud but loud enough. There are no problems at all with the reception range of the sensors, and a freezer is located in the basement. Easy to set up once you get the hang of it, but the instructions are a bit confusing and need to be printed in LARGE PRINT, EVEN 99% ALL ON PAPER TODAY! By the love of Pete, it's like trying to read a microfilm without looking at it, you would have to use reading glasses PLUS a magnifying glass! Aside from the crappy instructions, my only real complaint is that the display is pretty dim, should it be bright? No, as long as it's readable, but come on, it should be really easy to read. I really think it might get darker over time. I've only had it for about a month and I can say it's a lot darker now. I checked the battery voltage and both are fine so who knows what's going on. I hope it hasn't gotten too dark for me.
