The pulley in the kit differs from the product image. Its diameter is too large, so it could not be wrapped with a serpentine ribbon. It also made contact with the body of the car when the alternator was set to "full voltage". The supplied pulley was also silver. The generator weighed over 10 pounds; which I think is a good sign. Addendum: Item is defective. When decelerating to a stop, the battery light on the instrument panel will illuminate. I reinstalled the old generator and the problem did not occur. To replace the alternator, the CV axle and damper fork had to be removed.
