Good quality, used 5 times and works well every time. I was hesitant to purchase this product due to some negative reviews, but my experience is positive. The material is plastic with a rubber O-ring for pressure sealing, as is the manufacturer's cooling system cover (plastic with O-ring). It's possible that people with negative experiences didn't realize the gasket was on the o-ring and used too much force when using it.
