(225/4517) Last year, in an effort to find some quiet tires, I decided to give a set a try before leaving for the summer. Positive first impressions led us to decide to buy a second axle for our rear-wheel drive vehicle. A mix of new and slightly worn ones from last season went in today. In terms of road noise, they maintain a level 5+; there is a difference, but it is not very evident when compared to cheaper alternatives. If applied to all four wheels at once, it will last for one season, maybe two (I only put on around 20,000 to 25,000 miles per year).
