What I like most about these glasses is how comfortable the gasket fits the face. They don't dig into the skin like others do. This is both because the shape conforms well to the shape of my cheekbones and because of the softer material the gasket is made of. Other glasses I've worn often leave dark marks around my eyes when I take them off. I can wear these glasses with the right fit and take them off without having those horrible stains. (Of course they leave some marks, but it's much less noticeable than other glasses I've worn.) The ease of tightening/loosening the headband is average compared to other models - nothing special. if they come in. It's beautiful and comfortable for studying, built to last and keeps them from getting scratched in my gym bag. I like purple too. :-)
