Yes I am one of those crazy people who have continued to use X10 products over the past 30 years by various company owners, always turning a blind eye to reliability, technical limitations and quality issues. Very happy to receive my first PAT03 but the telescopic antenna detached at the first touch (you should have seen my face). Still protecting my wife's tech, I ordered a replacement only to find it was DOA too. Like a real x10 soldier - I bought their WiFi transceiver - which at least works - but for how long - considering quality control issues. Maybe PAT03 works better - I don't know.
