Review on 🏍️ GIVI RP3101 Skid Plate: The Ultimate Bike-Specific Solution by Gregory Chaitanya

This is a great product. Relatively easy to install, looks good and offers better protection than the plastic skid plate that comes with the 2019-650 XT V-strom. I'm by no means a mechanic, but that's relatively intuitive. Matches beautifully with the T-Rex racing poles which I also installed. 2 things I should mention: 1) They have to be completely removed to change the oil filter. I put mine in and had to take it off after 2 weeks due to a 600 mile service due. 2) There are small rubber sealing rings on the inside of the protective plate. Use some type of glue to attach the o-rings to the skid plate before attempting to attach them to the bracket. This prevents slipping and makes your life much easier.
