Review on πŸ’» Ultra Slim 7-Port USB 2.0 Data Hub with Individual LED Power Switches for Computer Networking by Taurus Monsalve

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Great USB hub for networking products

This hub is great - I can't believe how cheap it is and I just don't understand what some of the negative comments I've read in others could be Read reviews expect. USB hub. It's a nice slim size, the indicator lights showing which ports are active are nice and unobtrusive, the switches work fine, and the ports work. I've seen someone question its durability. Well, it's mostly hard plastic, which is what I expected. It should easily survive if you drop it, but if you drop it, step on it. It has no moving parts, it will stand on my desk, and it doesn't generate heat, so I expect it to run indefinitely. The ports are spaced appropriately. Unless you're connecting oversized devices, all 7 should be easily accessible. Like any of these hubs, it is limited by the computer ports it is plugged into. I have 1 port transmitting data; Have no other. So if I want my keyboard to work through a hub and my cellphone to sync with my computer, the hub needs to be plugged into that port. Through this hub I can connect my keyboard, computer fan, headphone/mic and sync my phone and iPad. To those who say they have to buy a separate power cord, I would say the problem is with your computer's power supply, not with this hub.
