From my experience I can say that I am a 55 year old female and that with the instructions in the manual I was able to install the lock without incident then I was I can use the ttlock- Download the app and link it to my smart lock. Ms. Vivian, a spokeswoman for the company, allowed me to make the most of the technology by sending me a g2 gateway that gives me full control of my lock and even interacts with Alexa to close my door without leaving my room to leave. The lock is elegant, sensitive to the touch and leaves no signs of wear. The hand keyhole is protected by a cover. I bought 4 locks, 3 of them from other brands and this hornbill. I asked for help from the previous three but never got it so I had to return it. With this lock I received all the audiovisual support I needed to activate and use. I do not represent any company, I am just a user who is very satisfied with their product and customer service. I was able to connect the lock to the app straight away and it works great. I haven't connected it to the gateway yet because I didn't buy it, but as soon as I do I'll let you know. Very good value for money
