I just installed this on a 2013 528i and it fits like a glove. The only catch was the oil leaked through the sealed bag and into the box via all the stickers etc. But &@%% happens and doesn't reflect the product. A few notes on installation in this model year cars 1) You must remove the stabilizer bar as it will impede access to the filter during installation. I just loosened one end and removed the screw on the other end to get it out of the way. Then put it back to its original position after reinstalling 2) I would recommend cleaning the air filter compartment with a vacuum cleaner after removing the old one so you don't vacuum up dirt right after
