I bought this LG Blu-ray player for my roommate along with the Mediabridge Ultra Series - High Speed HDMI to Ethernet Cables, 6 Foot, Category 2 Certified - Supports 3D and Audio Return Channel and a combination created for a 3 minute setup. This unit doesn't have Wi-Fi capability, but if you have a router nearby like we have, you can plug an Ethernet/Cat 5 cable into it and get an internet connection. We have Roku, so that was a bit of an exaggeration. The player is easy to use, the remote control is not complicated and the setup is easy. It plays Blu-Ray well and loading delays are not uncommon for a box in this price range. I bought LG for the LG flat panel interface. Both work great together. The Blu-Ray box is tiny so it's handy and it wasn't difficult to find a place for it. By today's standards, this is a basic, no-frills Blu-ray player. It does what it says on the tin and when connected via cable you can enjoy additional online services through your LG Smart TV. It just works, so we're happy.
