Camera seems steady, camera shows good day picture, good night picture. After hours I finally get sound, still can't get it to manually record, I found how the file numbers are listed. They need to have manuals with these things but . The monitor stays on even in sleep mode after 10 minutes or so and gets hot. The monitor needs vast improvements. But I guess they say you can't have both a good camera and good night vision with a good monitor.I had to buy the extension for the camera and customer service contacted me as to whether I was satisfied 9/22. I related to her the problems I was having with my monitor and I learned the functions such as fast forward, rewind, and manual recording does not come with this system. She was very courteous she took the time to investigate my problems, referred back to me quickly and referred to me again concerning other systems that has what this one Lacks. Best customer service I've dealt with - excellent.
