Review on Cargo Subaru Impreza Wagon Crosstrek by Samuel Blakeley

Nets good, hardware bad. DO NOT FOLLOW SELLER'S INSTRUCTIONS IN LITERATURE. These instructions are for genuine Subaru mushroom clips. Those offered here are cheap rip offs. I drilled the first side to a 1/2" hole per the listing instructions. No matter what I did, I couldn't tighten the clamp. 1/2 inch is too big. For the other side, I started small and worked up to a hole size where the mushroom clip would fit snugly when inserted, but I still couldn't tighten the mushroom clip enough that it wouldn't pull out easily. My only option was to go to your local Subaru and buy $12 OEM clamps. The Subaru clamps also worked great in a 1/2" hole (but I would recommend using a 7/16" drill bit). Subaru OEM number F551SAN010. Buy them and save yourself the headache.
