Update: I got a replacement charger. However this charger has the same exact problem when you put in all eight batteries to charge the screen flashes and no charging happens. The only difference being limited to six cells rather than four cells functioning when all batteries are inserted. I don’t know if it’s a problem with the power supply going to the charger because I’m using the cord that came with it I even tried another mini USB as well as a similar micro USB to see if it was the cord itself but either way the issue remain. Where is that it could be a problem with the actual board that runs the whole shebang I’m just not sure.I have to say customer service has been great with the exception of how we resolve the issue as with most of these companies they want to send you a replacement but don’t ask for the original one that didn’t work back so there doesn’t seem to be a true investigation of what the issue is at least not until I suggested it. They’re going to ship me a return label so I can send them back and they’re going to go ahead and refund the money back and make me whole which again is great. I suggested that customer service is only helpful if the product matches that great customer support effort.At this point I don’t know what I’m gonna do because I need a charger for the batteries but I’m not feeling all that inclined to get one through Best Buy as I’ve been burned now two times with this particular brand and one other time with another brand so I may just break down and go to the store and buy one there. I hope this is helpful thanks everyone.——-Well. I got this back in October. Charged batteries. Went to recharge today and the light lighted screen is flickering as if there's a short. I tried three different charging cords as they are potentially an issue but I have the original and a couple of similar ones and all produced the same results. No idea if it's charging the batteries or not. I suspect I'll have to buy another. What a waste.
